Blac Chyna on Tyga and Kylie Jenner’s controversial relationship
Blac Chyna has opened up about her ex-boyfriend Tyga’s controversial past relationship with Kylie Jenner.
For those who need a quick refresher, Kylie and Tyga went public with their relationship back in 2015, when they were 18 and 25, respectively. They dated until April 2017.
However, the pair met four years earlier in 2011 – the same year Tyga got involved with his now ex-fiancée Blac Chyna. Tyga and Chyna, who stayed together for three years, have a son named King Cairo.
It wasn’t until a few months after Tyga and Chyna broke up that they started being spotted out in public with Kylie, who was 17 at the time. In fact, the rapper was photographed at his 17th birthday party and filmed him offering her the shot he consumed alcohol, despite being four years younger than the legal drinking age.
This eventually fueled rumors that Tyga and Kylie were romantically involved despite their ages – which she vehemently denied at the time.
“No, I’m not dating Kylie.” I want to be clear to everyone, I did not leave my family to be with Kylie. This is ridiculous,” said one appearance on The Breakfast Club in 2015.
But not long after, Kanye West – the ex-husband of Kylie’s sister Kim Kardashian – hinted that Tyga and Kylie were actually together while she was a minor. “I think he got in early, I think he was smart. They are closer in age than a lot of relationships I know,” she said.
And over the next few months, rumors that Kylie and Tyga were dating only grew more popular as more hints developed. In March 2015, for example, Tyga shared a photo of Kylie on his Instagram page and wrote: “Some things catch the eye, but few catch the heart.” And four months later, Kylie’s sister, Khloé seemed to justify their apparent relationship with Kylie being ‘not a normal 17-year-old’.
The couple have repeatedly denied being romantically involved before Kylie was 18, instead insisting they were just very close friends. But once Kylie’s 18th birthday arrived, things changed.
First, Tyga released a song “Stimulated” with some questionable lyrics, just a week after Kylie’s 18th birthday. Then she and Tyga started their relationship Keeping up with the Kardashians.
Now, Chyna has strongly hinted that Tyga was in a relationship with Kylie before she turned 18.
To sit down for a wide-ranging interview a The Jason Lee ShowChyna was asked how she felt when she found out Tyga was “with the girl” — aka Kylie.
Chyna seemed nonchalant as she replied, “Forgive and forget. You have to forgive people and move on, or you’re just going to carry all this hate inside you, and then you start to change.”
She later claimed that Tyga actually kicked her out of his “house” when they broke up, seemingly suggesting that’s when she and Kylie started dating.
Chyna implied that Kylie was a minor at the time, referring to her “packing up” her stuff and putting it in her truck.
When host Jason Lee asked for clarification on Kylie’s age and questioned whether or not she was “under 18,” Chyna first responded, “Yes,” then backtracked and said she couldn’t remember. A rep for Tyga did not immediately respond to BuzzFeed News’ request for comment on Chyna’s allegations.
In response to the now-viral interview, several fans expressed their disgust at Chyna’s claims.
“Kylie and Tyga’s relationship was weird. they tried to say ‘we didn’t date until we were 18’ but let’s just know we’re together,” one person wrote on TikTok. “No one is holding Tyga accountable to this day,” someone else added.
