comment Time He commented about that time in his career that the experience made him not want to return to Hollywood until he knew what he wanted. He eventually landed his first leading role in a British drama Lady Macbeth (where he got it rave reviews), before returning to Hollywood with the film WWE Fighting with my family.
“The person I came back to was a female wrestler with muscles and big thighs who made a name for herself as a champion,” he said of his return to Hollywood.
“I really liked it because the last time I went there they told me I needed to lose weight – I’m just not the person I wanted to be.”
He said of the characters he plays, “Even if they’re not defined on the page, I always find some way to make them quite confrontational. I never see the bad in them – even when they kill children and burn friends. I’ve always seen them as people who have to do what they have to do to survive.”
This is not the first time that Flo has spoken on such occasions in his career. He said the Telegraph last year: “I thought the movie business was going to be like this [my experience with] The fallbut that’s really what the top of the game looked like, and I felt like I made a huge mistake.”
Florence went on to emphasize that she doesn’t want to alter her body for a role for aesthetic reasons, saying earlier this year: “I would never lose weight to look fantastic for a role. How would this character have lived? What would he have eaten?”
