J-Pop Group SG5 is the first girl group to officially collaborate with “Sailor Moon,” and we spoke with them about their debut single, “Firetruck.”

Kaede: If I were to describe the other members as snacks, I would say they are gummies with jelly in them! Because the more you know about our members, the more you will learn about them, and not just what you see on the surface.

Sayaka: I think Kaede is chocolate chip cookie, Miyuu is gummy candy, Ruri is cotton candy, and Rui is chocolate!

Miyuu: Sayaka is an Oreo cookie, Ruri is a salted plum, Kaede is a potato chip, and Rui is a candy!

Ruri: If my members were to snack, I think Kaede would be chocolate chip cookies, Miyuu would be milk candy, Sayaka would be caramel, and Rui would be Apollo chocolate.

Rui: Kaede would be Sour Patch gum because her bright personality is like colorful gum. Ruri would be Sasha (Japanese chocolate candy) as Sasha’s delicious look and packaging is very Ruri-esque! Sayaka would be a chocolate-covered nut—especially macadamia chocolate, which has personality and purpose as an adult. Miyuu would be rainbow cotton candy chocolate, because it’s a little mysterious, but it has a fluffy and cute fancy atmosphere, just like cotton candy that melts as soon as you eat it!
