Right fielder Bailey Ober, who outdueled Clayton Kershaw and helped lead Minnesota to its first Dodger Stadium victory in his last start since 2005, will take the mound Monday night. Gemini open a six-game homestand with the San Francisco Giants
Ober (3-0, 1.78 ERA) allowed one run on six hits while striking out six over six innings in Tuesday’s 5-1 win at Los Angeles.
“The whole atmosphere of being in Dodger Stadium against this type of team to get off to a quality start feels really good,” Ober told MLB.com. “I felt like I was floating a bit and I was trying to feel my legs.”
This will be Ober’s first career start against San Francisco. He made three consecutive quality starts for Minnesota, posting a 1.89 ERA.

Bailey, the 13th overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, made his major league debut Friday night and had his first major league hit Saturday afternoon.
“It’s crazy,” Bailey told the San Jose Mercury News. “To be able to hit all the milestones in one weekend and kind of fit in is pretty cool. Just a rollercoaster. Full of emotions. After every day I felt completely exhausted mentally and physically.”
